ABOUT NACREALIA
An architecture-led response
to a material challenge.
Nacrealia was developed around a simple principle: transparency, containment, strength and closure should not be forced into one material function.

WHY NACREALIA
A pearl is the symbol. Layered architecture is the method.
The name refers to nacre’s disciplined hierarchy: thin layers cooperate to create performance greater than any layer alone. Nacrealia translates that principle into regenerated cellulose, controlled geometry and an ultrathin mineral barrier. The pearl mark communicates clarity and material depth without suggesting shell-derived content.
DEVELOPMENT PHILOSOPHY
Customer need first. Mechanism second. Evidence always.
The programme begins with the complete cold-cup experience: beverage visibility, secure handling, splash control, stacking, store speed and food-contact safety. Material science is then used to meet those needs through a layered regenerated-cellulose architecture inspired by nacre.
Claims are deliberately bounded. Targets remain targets until testing demonstrates them, and development phases include defined reasons to stop.
The next stage requires multidisciplinary challenge.
Cellulose engineering, transparent barriers, thermoforming, food-contact regulation, sensory science, converting and recovery infrastructure must be considered together.
